About us
The Saudi Business Council (SBC) is an independent, non-profit, private-sector association registered in Spain. Its mission is to support Saudi businesses and Saudi Vision 2030 in their engagement with European and global markets, and to help international partners understand how to work with the Kingdom in a disciplined and respectful way.
SBC does not represent the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and does not issue licenses, approvals or financial products. All sovereign, regulatory and investment decisions remain fully with the competent authorities in the Kingdom. SBC operates from Europe as a foreign-based support platform, in coordination and complementarity with official Saudi institutions and business chambers, but without replacing their roles.
Just as European business chambers help European companies navigate Saudi Arabia from inside the Kingdom, the Saudi Business Council helps Saudi businesses and institutions navigate Europe and other regions from outside - while helping external partners understand the legal, cultural and business context of engaging with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Bridging Vision 2030 and International Markets
SBC is inspired by the principles of Saudi Vision 2030 and supports its implementation from the private-sector side. In particular, SBC focuses on:
