Mission Statement for the Saudi Business Council

The Saudi Business Council (SBC) is an independent, non-profit, private-sector association registered in Spain. Inspired by the principles of Saudi Vision 2030 and the National Investment Strategy (NIS), SBC'S mission is simple: To support Saudi businesses in thriving in the global economy.

We pursue this mission by:
1. Connecting Businesses to the World 
Building bridges between Saudi companies and international partners, facilitating trade, investment and knowledge sharing - particularly in Spain, Europe and other key markets - and helping foreign partners understand how to engage with Saudi Arabia in a disciplined and respectful way.
2. Championing the Private Sector 
Providing a private-sector perspective on opportunities and challenges, and supporting dialogue around frameworks and practices that enable Saudi businesses to grow, compete and contribute to the Kingdom's economic transformation.
3. Promoting Investment and Innovation
Highlighting opportunities that align with Vision 2030 and the NIS, encouraging responsible foreign investment into Saudi projects and sectors, and fostering a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship among Saudi companies and their partners.
4. Supporting National Initiatives from Abroad
Aligning our activities with the strategic direction of Vision 2030 by raising awareness of Saudi priorities, sharing information on public initiatives, and encouraging international stakeholders to work through official Saudi channels (investment, trade, tourism and sectoral bodies). SBC acts in complementarity, and not in place, of any ministry, authority or government, agency. 
5. Empowering Future Leaders
Encouraging the involvement of Saudi youth and women in international economic engagement - through research, events and exposure to global partners - so they can become the next generation of business leaders supporting the Kingdom's long-term prosperity.
6. Upholding Transparency and Integrity
Promoting ethical business practices, transparency and respect for law in all our activities, and encouraging partners to align with both Saudi and international standards, in line with the spirit of Vision 2030.

Through these actions, SBC seeks to contribute, from the private-sector side, to:

This mission reflects SBC's commitment to acting as a catalyst from outside the Kingdom, empowering Saudi businesses to realise their full potential and to contribute, in their own right, to the realisation of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030.
